Roadmap for Democracy in Singapore workshop

The Singapore Democrats will organise a workshop to plan for a campaign to reform the political system in Singapore. The programme is aimed at drafting an action-agenda that will form a Road Map for Democracy in Singapore.

The three areas of reform targeted for discussion are:

1. Elections System
2. Media
3. Civil and Political Rights

The workshop will be held on 27 May 2006, Saturday, from 2 to 6 pm. Please email us at speakup@singaporedemocrat.org to register. As places are limited, we ask you to sign up as early as you can.

We will provide further details of the event upon your registration and may ask to meet up with you for a pre-workshop briefing.

If you're tired about complaining and want to do something constructive to bring about democracy in Singapore, this is the workshop for you. We hope to see you then.
